Lifesong christian school - 11th grade class
Since 2017, TAO has partnered with Lifesong for Orphans to provide tuition-free education to 28 students in Haiti who would not otherwise attend school because of poverty. Specifically through Christian education, we not only seek to provide an academic standard which allows our students to graduate at the top of most students in Haiti, but we also provide an environment that shares and demonstrates Christ first through biblical integration in the classroom, daily Bible teaching, and mentorship from teachers who profess Christ and live for God. Every student who walks through the doors of our schools come in contact with the Gospel.
JOB creation
A great challenge in Haiti is the lack of jobs. We believe that education and job creation is critical to breaking the cycle of poverty. Rickencia and Jean Nelson are two exceptional employees that TAO supports through our Job Creation Salary Sponsorship.
Rickencia - School Boutique Manager
Rickencia was the first student that TAO supported. She has since completed high school and a two-year secretarial program.
Jean Nelson - Maintenance Coordinator
Jean Nelson completed two years of college and several trade school classes including, electrical, welding and concrete.
